Philip understood our requirements and sourced suitable replacement tiles. He improved what had been there previously by taking the opportunity to correct an adverse camber, so that rain now runs off our path rather than forming a pool. Philip also installed 4 security lights for us, and was happy to take into account feedback from our next-door neighbour, adapting the installation of our lights to avoid causing annoyance to them.
Lovely chap. Arrived on time, did a great job and left the garden tidy. It’s great when someone just gets on with the job. Definitely would use again.
Taking down of a greenhouse, a rotten shed & 2 other storage structures. Cutting back and clearing of over grown bushes and plants. Levelling the ground to prepare for lawn. The work carried out was superb and the attention to detail was flawless. Phil always kept us in the loop as to his progress and was so flexible and understanding of our requirements. We shall definitely be using him again and I cannot recommend him enough.

Company info
I have been in the landscape business since 1978, when I started work for a local firm during school holidays. Somewhat accidentally I ended up as a foreman by the time I was 19 years old and then eventually set up my own business, having had some time out working as a Scuba Diving Instructor and running my own diving school. I Offer a complete landscape gardening and garden design service and am very much ""hands on"" being a creative Landscape artisan. I take you through the design and then the construction process and most importantly will help you keep your new garden looking its best for many years to come, although I do not now do much garden maintenance but will certainly offer advice on what to do and when. My specialty is creating contemporary looking gardens and constantly innovate with new materials and design methods. Decking has progressed from slippery rotting softwood to long lasting plastic lumber or Aluminum sub frames with amazing new composite materials and of course Hardwoods being available, with subtle accent lighting being possible to build into steps. Paving has progressed from when I first started in landscaping from being the choice of grey or buff to a bewildering selection of manmade and natural stone. Garden lighting schemes are now available using 12-volt systems to give added ""umph"" to your outside space. Computer controlled irrigation systems are now available for all budgets and pop-up lawn sprinklers are particularly popular. I have all the tools and machinery needed to create just about anything in the garden and the experience and expertise to correctly install whatever you want created - Excavator with auger and concrete breaker, tracked carrier and dumper, stone cutting equipment with dust suppression, welding, drilling and cutting equipment for steel, wood working equipment with dust extraction etc. Generally, I work on my own with the use of occasional laborers and other tradesmen when required. It may take me slightly longer to complete a project BUT what you get is someone who is absolutely dedicated to perfection and only the best will do, as can be seen from the many reviews on here. My work area covers most of Surrey, North Hampshire and West Sussex as well as South West London. If in doubt, please do ask. I really do have a love and passion for what I do and continue to research interesting and exciting gardens to provide inspiration and originality in my designs– e.g RHS Wisley, The Lost Gardens Of Heligan, Hidcote Manor, Villa D'Este and Chateau Villandry & many other Loire Valley Chateaux as well as Botanical gardens further afield In The USA, Far East and other parts of Europe. Of course, being a regular visitor to RHS shows and gardens helps to keep abreast of developments in Horticulture and design.
